Supply Chain Planner at Lantmännen Unibake Sweden

Lantmännen Unibake in Sweden has 350 employees and a turnover of around SEK 1.6 billion. Production takes place at three bakeries, one in Örebro, one in Huddinge and one in Mantorp, and we market both internally manufactured products and resale goods under brands such as Korvbrödsbagarn, Bonjour and Hatting.
Lantmännen Unibake Sweden is now looking for a Supply Chain Planner, on a one-year temporary contract, who has a strong desire to plan our supply chain. This is a major focus area for Lantmännen Unibake, where we are introducing standardised working practices, systems and methods. We are looking for someone who enjoys running analyses and performing monitoring, as well as developing optimum planning for factories, purchasing volumes and logistics, both independently and as part of a team. The Supply Chain Planner reports to the Planning Manager at Lantmännen Unibake Sweden.
As Supply Chain Planner for several product categories, you will be responsible for developing Supply Chain planning for these product categories with a focus on balancing sales volumes against potential production and/or purchasing capacity. You will be responsible for providing long-term volume plans for our sales and operations planning (S&OP) and to management teams (1–18 months), and also responsible for providing medium-term plans to factories, logistics and purchasing (2–12 weeks).
You will monitor key indicators, such as planned stock turnover rate, planning accuracy, etc. You will support and implement supply chain improvements to meet the needs of the business together with managers and staff in production, distribution, planning and purchasing.
You will be expected to pursue ambitious targets that aim to continuously improve costs, quality and service within Operations and you will work closely with other functions within Unibake Sweden. There may also be some degree of international cooperation.
You are an enthusiastic Supply Chain Planner with a capacity for both independent analysis and cross-functional cooperation. You are someone who takes a proactive approach to ensuring Unibake’s efficiency within this area and you have a good understanding of the need for development in food production operations.
Applicants must have excellent spoken and written English. We are looking for someone with a relevant degree or equivalent, as well as excellent analytical and planning skills. You will also have good computer skills. Personal suitability for the post will be a major consideration.
The job is based at the offices of Lantmännen Unibake Sweden in Stockholm or at the factory in Örebro, Huddinge or Mantorp (Linköping), with frequent travel between our sites and potentially to other countries where Unibake operates.
