Delivery on time with the right quality and quantity is key for our customers, which motivates us to continuously improve efficiency in our end-to-end supply chain planning. Predicting the future volume development and understanding the near time portfolio changes, requires us to have a strong Demand Planning team who works closely with sales and supply to fulfill our customers’ needs and in parallel achieve cost control internally. Are you the dedicated Demand Planner we are looking for?

As Demand Planner, you secure compliance to the demand planning process and continues improvements in collaboration with sales and other key stakeholder. You minimize forecasting errors and secure the long-term demand view by monthly sign-off meetings with key account managers. You will focus on enabling the organization in assuring accurate volume sign-offs, which is the prerequisite to hold the right production capacity and inventory to secure customer service and cost control.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate monthly forecasting meetings with sales key account managers to analyze demand trends and patterns, review derivations, follow-up KPIs, review new launches, delistings and update the commercial forecast accordingly
  • Participate in the financial process and monthly together with finance align volume predictions. Responsibility to understand potential deviations and impact to the business
  • Secure good cross-functional communication and cooperation within the supply chain, sales, marketing and finance. Responsibility for personal development and willingness to push boundaries to understand key drivers within functions beyond of supply chain planning
  • Active participation and responsibility for demand reviews within the sales and operations planning (S&OP) process. Responsibility to impact demand and supply balance through supporting end-to-end fact based decisions

Knowledge, skills & experience required:

  • Experience in working with demand planning in a complex environment, equally to FMCG with multiple sourcing sites and countries
  • Analytical and have the ability to seek and structure required data sources, and communicate it back in a simplified way
  • Holistic view, with the ability to understand and coordinate cross-functional requirements
  • Ability to work independently and proactively to drive improvement and development
  • Excellent people and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of common IT tools or similar (Movex, SO99+, Cognos, Microsoft Office)
  • Excellent spoken and written Swedish, English and other Nordic languages is a plus
  • Preferably an academic degree or the equivalent

The position is located in our office in Malmö. Some travelling will occur, primarily to our other offices and facilities in within the Nordic countries, approximately 4-6 days per month. You will report to the Demand Planning Manager.
